Overview & Objective
Within this course, students dove into the exploration, construction, and evaluation of their professional brand identity, unique attributes, and specialized areas of expertise for online emphasis. The culmination involves the development of a digital portfolio website, acting as the cornerstone for all portfolio components throughout the program. By course completion, students possess a digital platform for presenting their upcoming work, continuously refining their attractiveness to potential employers and industry experts.
What I Learned
I identified and shaped my individual brand through research of my industry's landscape, competitors, and job requirements. I pinpointed areas for skill enhancement and devised a comprehensive professional development plan to address these gaps. Crafting a brand promise and positioning strategy aligned with my target audience, I composed an elevator pitch to effectively convey my distinctive value proposition.
Software
This presentation was put together using Keynote and then was exported as a PowerPoint to SlideShare to be able to place here in my portfolio site. Other tools such as ONetOnline, LinkedIn, and Adobe stock & fonts were used for research and design purposes.
Time
This project took approximately 15 hours to complete.
